The hotel is an incredibly friendly place with airy rooms. The staff are superfriendly and immensely pleasant and deserve a 3-star rating. The location of the venue is marvellous and gorgeous, really close to the restaurant on the first night and Southam. Also, it's located 2 km from Arbury Hill. Every time we stay in Daventry, like to stay here.

great countryside views near charming landmarks and parks
I enjoyed a lovely stay with great food and a nice quiet experience in the superb countryside, making it the perfect base to explore nearby attractions like the Church of St Mary the Virgin, less than 5 km away, and the picturesque Boddington Reservoir, just a short drive, giving ample opportunities for serene walks.

The cozy gastropub had a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, but service was lacking during a busy time, leading to delays. The food quality was excellent, especially the Sunday Roast. Enjoyed exploring the stunning countryside location nearby, but a larger bed would have made it even better.

The pub is charming and the food was fantastic! It's only 5 minutes from where i needed to be in the morning, perfect. The staff were super friendly, too. Breakfast was decent enough, though a cooked option would have been nice.

An additional seating area would be appreciated for relaxation.

The room was super clean and spacious, with a nice layout and comfortable decor. The bathroom was lovely, and I appreciated having a good selection of teas. The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, so I felt the springs at times. Still, the overall vibe was cozy and inviting.

The accommodation and food was totally amazin. It was spotlessly clean and the room had everything we needed for a great stay. We had some delicious meals that were cooked perfectly. The staff were super friendly. Great selection of beers too, my partner loved that! Overall really nice vibe in the pub and lovely location.
The mattress in the room was kinda soft, felt the springs while I was laying down. The cocktails we tried didn't taste like much, wouldn't order them again.

Great breakfast and clean room, but slow check-in process needed improvement.

The live music added a great vibe to our stay, and the food was spot on. We also checked out some local street food. Just a heads up, checkout is at 10am, so plan accordingly!
The only downside was the early check-out time. 10Am felt a bit rushed after a night of fun.

It was just a balanced option for a quick layover in Daventry, offering good value considering the price charged. The breakfast box in the room was quite nice and thoughtfully arranged with croissants, jam, and yogurt. Make sure to enjoy breakfast early to avoid running out of supplies.

Great food and chill vibes
Had a really nice time at this cozy pub. The double room was comfy, and they had awesome outdoor dining. Our meals were great-my steak was just perfect and the chips were heavenly. Only thing was, it got a bit busy towards the end, and service slowed down. But a lovely spot!

The cottage next to the pub offered a great escape. Super friendly staff. Super clean room with comfy beds made for a good night's sleep. The shower had excellent water pressure and the complimentary soaps were a good touch. The breakfast box in the room exceeded my expectations, very generous and well-stocked. The location in the Northamptonshire countryside is picturesque. There was ongoing decorating that I wasn't warned about, and it disrupted the otherwise lovely atmosphere. The noise from the fridge at night disturbed my sleep a bit too. It felt a bit overpriced for the overall quality, given the mentioned issues.
